Schön! 12 - Let The Sun Shine
Sunbeams of talent radiate from the pages of Issue 12 of Schön! Magazine, warming our faces with the glow of never-ending discoveries of creative genius. Model Sebastian Sauve once again graces our pages, this time alongside Leebo Freeman in the provocative cover story “Miami Bitch,” shot by Dimitris Theocharis. And the vibrancy of summer, both sun and shade, is captured in the editorial “Haughty Shades,” shot by Thanassis Krikis and edited by Nicholas Georgiou.
Walk with us down the garden path of design as we share enthralling conversations with Kim Jones, a master of menswear and one of fashion’s most influential people, interviewed by Andre Da Silva, and Dan and Dean Caten, the daring men behind the irresistibly sexy and glamorous brand DSquared2, interviewed by our very own João Paulo Nunes. Nineteen74.com SkyLounge has teamed up with Designers Against Aids and thePout.co.uk to proudly present the launch of Schön! Magazine Volume 2.
Schön! Magazine is written for visionaries, by visionaries, bringing unknown stars and the pioneers of creativity to the frontline of the reader’s intellect. If your senses were hypnotised by the first cocktail of talent, beware of the Schön! Magazine Volume 2- fabricated by energy that will simply set your imagination alight.
Only at London’s finest and most exclusive venue; Adam Street, a private members’ club set in the vaults of an 18th century Robert Adam building just off The Strand is fit to launch this explosion of creativity. This flare of talent will be set to shine in shadow of the imperial affair of London fashion week. The event will take place next to Somerset House on Sunday 20th September from 7pm to 1am.
Whilst celebrating the launch of Schön! Magazine volume 2, and in cooperation with thePout.co.uk; a vibrant young company, dedicated to providing opportunities for people involved in the fashion and proven to attract and connect the most influential names from this exciting industry , we would like to support and promote the cause of Designers against Aids. Our Party is set to increase recognition for this global project launched in 2004, with the specific goal of raising AIDS/HIV awareness in the international media and today's worldwide society, specifically aiming the education towards youngsters living in the industrialised countries.

Schön! is the magazine produced for creatives by creatives and is set to take off in a big way. If you’re an aspiring artist, photographer, writer, designer or general trendsetter we’d love to hear from you. We received a mass amount of content for the first issue and were impressed with all the talented people registered on http://www.nineteen74.com who sent in their work, but please refrain from resending things that you sent for issue 1. June 2008: The date when http://www.NINETEEN74.COM ascended to our computer screens. Since then the creative networking site has blossomed-its reputation and audience has become palpably huge -with over 16,000 subscribers. And so, we came to the decision to launch an online magazine, ‘Schön!’.
Schön! is not just another online fashion magazine.
It’s not just for the fashion conscious lady.
