From the age of 13, pictures have defined my life. Regardless of whether they are in colour or black and white, showing people, objects or action: It all depends on the statement being made.

Born and raised in south Tyrolean Pustertal, I discovered an interest for photography early on. From the age of 13 onwards my SLR camera was my constant companion.

Equipped with my camera I set off with some professional snowboarding friends and somehow managed to press the shutter at the right time, to “capture the moment”. To my delight, I was able to sell these first photos to papers and magazines. After finishing college in Cortina d'Ampezzo, my goal was always to be work creatively in the world of photography, so I left to travel abroad.

As a photographer for press and action sports in Austria. I have been directly involved with major events like the Alpine Ski World Cup or the European Soccer-Championships. To enable me to work more creatively I decided to focus on advertising photography, specializing in people, lifestyle, fashion and extreme sports.

Today I alternate between living and working in Munich and south Tyrol. I am delighted to be able to count Red Bull, Nitro Snowboards, Brennercom, Südtiroler Sparkasse or Hey & Hoffmann publishing house amongst my clients. Whether on set or outside – in addition to the high quality demanded of me, the ability to convey emotion is a necessary requirement as well as flexibility, punctuality and social skills. The results are evident in my pictures.
