PERSONAL DESCRIPTION
Fiona Burke derives from Ireland, Co. Donegal to be exact. Having studied an Art & Design diploma at Limavdy College, it was at this point, Fiona realised to undertake her true passion for Fashion. She’s now based in London where she studies Fashion History & Theory at Central Saint Martin's [The only course in the UK]. Fiona’s infatuation for fashion: challenging people’s one dimensional view of the subject as ‘superficial’ and ‘unworthy’.
Although she’s undecided of her career path, Fiona is taking time to explore her options. She’s taking a placement year in the industry, which is part of her degree. At present Fiona is following her interest in journalism and fashion writing. She is also working part-time with NINETEEN74.COM as a Promoter and Marketing Assistant.
