The up and coming fashion brand managed by Omatu and Sandra embodies sex-appeal, self-confidence and elegance.
Fulani, a tribe in Nigeria is namesake for the label, founded in aug 2003 the label that emerged in Vienna, Austria rapidly getting international exposure.
Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child) stunned in a FULANI dress on the red carpet of the VH1 Divas in Los Angeles. Not only female artists stand out in FULANI, R.Kelly and Jadakiss support the two Viennese designers as well as Jamie Foxx and T.I through music videos and life performances.
Represented at tradeshows such as Industry 212 in NY, WWD Magic in Las Vegas or L.A fashion week, just to name a few, stores in Europe and the US picked up the line thereby increasing the prominence of FULANI.
Omatu and Sandra express their creativity in other means!
Omatu attended the Vienna Conservatoria (school of music). She is a trained singer, dancer and skilled songwriter.
(The name Omatu comes from the Igbo ethnic group in Nigeria.)
In parallel she started to attend fashion school (Modeschule Hetzendorf, Vienna) where she teamed up with Sandra.
Sandra is proficient in graphics- and interior-design and experienced event manager.
