PERSONAL DESCRIPTION

I'm a 21 year old guy from Bloemfontein in South Africa. I've been studying photography for the last 3 years. I’m still busy with my last year.

I love fashion and beauty photography! I love the results that I get at the end of a shoot. I am trained in all aspects of photography but my heart belongs to fashion. I also enjoy beauty photography a lot. I love lighting a face. I always learn something new.

I love contrast in photos. Contrast is one of the most important factors in photography to me, next to lighting of course. The second most important factor is passion, emotion and feeling of the the model in the photograph. Makeup, styling and editing contribute to this feeling... I also like to play around with my composition.

I enjoy working with natural lighting. I like the fact that it's. Natural lighting always has a way of surprising me. I also enjoy studio work. I just feel you have less to work with in studio where as with location work you can use your environment to enhance your image.

I am a good studio photographer and I have great lighting capabilities. I mostly do studio for beauty work. I’ll always take along a light kit as backup when doing location work.

Other than that I am a friendly young guy. I like laughing and enjoy the company of creative people. I am shy and sometimes a bit of an introvert but the moment I pick up my camera I become a totally different person. I become the person in control. I love directing models, but love working with models that know how to move. My biggest dream is to end up as a famous photographer in London or New York. I don’t know when that’s going to happen but I really hope it happens sooner than later

I am looking for opportunities to collaborate with makeup artists, stylists and models. I am willing to travel anywhere as long as my budget allows it. So if anyone needs a photographer let me know. I’m also interested in assisting photographers on shoots.
