It enables companies from all over the world to post freelance fashion & graphic design projects which designers registered with the site can 'bid' to undertake.
All work is completed on a project by project basis and emailed to the companies, it is not necessary for the two parties to meet.
It can save companies significant amounts of money over using more traditional employment routes.
Companies also have a global pool of designers to draw from.
